Close proximity (1 min walk) to bus station for Meiji temple for instance. Only a few minutes walk to higashi-shinjuku metro station (much better than walking that 16-20 mins in the hot summer heat in Tokyo). Clean room. All amenities (tooth brush, facial washes of various kinds, hair shampoo and conditioners, free Japanese curry with rice and 3 different kinds of soups for breakfast daily) are supplied in the room as well as additional self-serve items on ground floor. Washer and dryer are combined in 1 unit within the apartment with sound-proof partition from our perspective. The bathtub was a bonus @ end of each long walking day. We didn’t utilize the in-room karaoke as we spent most day outdoor. The built-in kitchen is totally functional and suitable for preparing family meal (but why would you when street and local restaurants food are out of this world - yes, we picked places where locals would go). Love the ease of iPad-like kiosk check-in and building access. We all felt very safe. Totally no problem as street lights and surrounding commercial buildings are well lit without being intrusive (windows have very thick curtains) we even had a balcony that would comfortably fit 2-3 people @ a time. Free supplies of laundry detergents, water and tea bottles as needed. Totally free of charge.

10 min walk to the train station (Higashi Shinjuku or Shinjuku station). The staff were very friendly and tried to help even with limited English. The room comes with a working kitchenette, you can possibly cook a feast if you want to. Breakfast is curry with rice, and bread, would be nice if they do change it up a little. Fresh towels provided everyday. Also provided drinking water and juices everyday. There is no room cleaning service, guests are expected to make sure they keep the room clean. Comfy beds for all of us. Our kids were excited to have the Karaoke in the room. Great fun. The pantry of lotions and facial masks was delightful. Get to choose different type of masks everyday of our stay. There are explanations for most items apart from the Karaoke and AC remote. Maybe an English explanation would help non Japanese guests.

I stayed for 4 days and 5 nights at Hotel Pasela Living last week with my family (2 adults, 2 teens and 1 kid). The room was of adequate space and comfortable for the 5 of us. The room and bathroom were equipped with everything that is required for a convenient family stay. The karaoke was fun and the home cinema was perfect for relaxing and chilling with family after a whole day out. The breakfast was limited in variety but that wasn't really an issue. Another big advantage for this hotel is its location. The bus stop for the bus to Shinjuku and Shibuya stations were steps away from the hotel and we even walked to the Shinjuku Station which is 15 minutes away. The nearby locality had some very good eatery spots and shopping areas too.

We are a family of 5 and it was difficult to find a room with enough beds. With this room you get the whole floor to yourselves and each of our children had a bunk bed with a curtain to after a full on day they could have some time to themselves before bed. The beds were so comfortable. The free toiletries range was extensive. The bath and the bathroom area in general felt luxurious. The curry and rice for breakfast was yummy. There is a smaller train station approx 5 minute walk from the hotel (Shinjuku sanchome). Family Mart is almost next door. We looked forward to returning to the room each day and missed Pasela when we changed location, nothing else compared.
